O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the godowns / warehouses containing pledged agricultural goods of the bank worth about Rs.3.98 crores from the perpetrators who are attempting to break open the locks based on the complaint made by the petitioner dated 13.04.2018.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he runs the godowns, in which, the stocks of the borrowers of Karur Vysya Bank are stored. While so, the petitioner has alleged that some persons employed by the third respondent, attempted to break open the godown and remove the stocks. In this connection, the petitioner has given a complaint dated 13.04.2018 and thereafter, has filed the present petition for police protection.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the first respondent, the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned counsel for the third respondent.

4. To a pointed question posed by this Court to the learned counsel for the third respondent as to whether his client would set his men and agents to commit acts of aggression into the petitioner's godown, the counsel stated that the third respondent has no such intention.

5. Recording the same, the police is directed to give sufficient protection to the godown of the petitioner, so that there is no aggression from any quarter.
