( Criminal Jurisdiction ) Wednesday, the Fourth day of August Two Thousand Twenty One PRESENT The Hon`ble Mr Justice M.DHANDAPANI CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.7448 of 2021 IN CRL OP.3266/2020 LAKSHMANAN [ PETITIONER ] Vs THE INSPECTOR OF POLICE [ RESPONDENT ] ALL WOMEN POLICE STATION, GUINDY, CHENNAI 32 Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to relax the condition that was imposed in Crl.O.P.3266/2020 dated 19.02.2020 in the bail application in Crime No.8/2019 that the petitioner/accused shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30am and 5.30pm for a period of one month and thereafter daily at 10.

30am until further orders and thus render justice Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S M.AYYADURAI, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S. C.E.PRATAP, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- Vide order dated 19.02.2020, this Court had granted bail on certain conditions and in one of the condition, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 am and 5.30 pm for a period of one month and thereafter daily at 10.30 am until further orders.

2. The present petition has been filed seeking modification of the said condition.

3. Learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instruction, submits that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions without fail.

3. In view of the above submission, this Court is of the considered view that the prayer as sought for by the petitioner could be acceded to.

4. Accordingly, the condition insofar as appearance as imposed by order dated 19.02.2020 alone stands modified and the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police, every Monday at 10.30 a.m. till the investigation is completed and charge sheet is filed and thereafter, shall appear before the concerned trial Court on each and every date of hearing.
