ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed praying for a Mandamus, directing the Respondents 2 to 4 not to close or relocate TASMAC Shop No.4376 based on the Representation of the Petitioner dated 01.04.2026 and to act strictly in accordance with law and in consonance with the order passed by this Court in W.P. No.48789 of 2025 by affording opportunity to all concerned

stakeholders.

2. At the outset, learned the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the State as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the Corporation (TASMAC) would submit that as on date the TASMAC shop is operational/functional. In case it is proposed to relocate the shop hereafter, such exercise of relocation would be made in accordance with law and relevant rules. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

3. In that view of the matter, unless any such proposal for relocation of shop is considered and appropriate orders are passed, the present shop would continue to remain functional.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 09-04-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order jv
