Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2014, 07.06.2014, 18.07.2014 and 18.07.2014 respectively and transfer the petitioner to the nearest District Centre within a time frame fixed by this Honourable Court.

2.The petitioner in W.P.No.26405 of 2015 was recruited as Police Band Constable/Bugler on 18.01.2010 and at present he is working in the Tamil Nadu Special Police, 15th Battalion at Avadi, Chennai. It is the claim of the petitioner that various constables who are working as Buglers were transferred to native district by considering their request. The petitioner has also submitted representation dated 16.04.2014 through proper channel to the first respondent and praying for transfer to Vellore City Special Police on the ground that his parents are old and he has to support two sisters and his mother is also suffering from High Blood Pressure as well as Heart ailment and he has to make arrangement for the marriage of his sisters and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file the writ petition.
3.The petitioner in W.P.No.26406 of 2015 was recruited as Police Band Constable/Bugler on 18.01.2010 and at present he is working in the Tamil Nadu Special Police, 15th Battalion at Avadi, Chennai. It is the claim of the petitioner that various constables who are working as Buglers were transferred to native district by considering their request. The petitioner has also submitted representation dated 07.06.2014 through proper channel to the first respondent and praying for transfer to Virudhunagar District Special Police on the ground that his parents are old and his mother is also suffering from High Blood Pressure as well as Heart ailment and his wife is also suffering due to uterus problem and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file the writ petition.
4.The petitioner in W.P.No.26407 of 2015 was recruited as Police Band Constable/Bugler on 18.01.2010 and at present he is working in the Tamil Nadu Special Police Regimental Centre at Avadi, Chennai. It is the claim of the petitioner that various constables who are working as Buglers were transferred to native district by considering their request. The petitioner has also submitted representation dated 18.07.2014 through proper channel to the first respondent and praying for transfer to Tirunelveli Armed Force or City Police on the ground that he is the only male member to look after his family and there is nobody to take care of his parents and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file the writ petition. 5.The petitioner in W.P.No.26408 of 2015 was recruited as Police Band Constable/Bugler on 18.01.

dated 18.07.2014 through proper channel to the first respondent and praying for transfer to Theni District Special Police on the ground that his wife is employed as Computer Operator in Pannapuram Municipality, Theni District and he has also got 1-1/2 year female child and he has to look after his age old parents apart from his wife and minor female child and therefore sought for transfer and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file the writ petition.
6.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has drawn the attention of this Court to the proceedings of the first respondent dated 07.07.2014 as well as 11.02.2015 and would submit that request made by the persons similarly placed, have been considered and accommodated either in native district/ nearby the native district and the request made by the petitioners may be sympathetically considered.
7.This Court also heard the submissions of Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
8.This Court taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioners representations dated 16.04.2014, 07.06.2014, 18.07.2014 and 18.07.2014 respectively, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
