ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeks a direction in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 16.09.2024 and thereafter, reminder submitted on 22.04.2025 and pass necessary orders.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he had applied for enrollment as an Advocate in the year 2021, which has not been considered till date. No reasons have been assigned. Therefore, he was compelled to file the representation, however, the respondent is not taking any action on the representation.

3. Learned counsel for the respondent/Bar Council has clearly stated that in case a direction is issued, the representation shall be decided in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible. In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the respondent/Bar Council to decide the representation

dated 16.09.2024 and the reminder dated 22.04.2025 and pass a reasoned and speaking order as expeditiously as possible, preferably within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order.
