Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to award selection and special grade to the petitioners herein by computing the entire period of service rendered as Secondary Grade Teacher prior to 01.06.1988 as was extended to other similarly placed teachers as per G.O.(Ms.)No.1381, Education Department, dated 05.10.1990 and G.O.(Ms.) No.234, Education (G2) Department, dated 10.09.2009 with all arrears and consequential benefits thereon and within such time as may be prescribed by this Court.

For petitioners : Mr.R.Sivaraman in both W.Ps.

For respondents : Mr.Jaya Prakash Narayanan in both W.Ps.

Special Government Pleader COMMON ORDER Today, when these matters are taken up, Mr.R.Sivaraman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw these Writ Petitions. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. In view of the above submission and endorsement made, permission is granted to withdraw these Writ Petitions and accordingly, these Writ Petitions are dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs.
