ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to file charge sheet in Crime No.48 of 2015 dated 21.2.2015, within a stipulated period.

2. In the petition, it is averred that the petitioner made a complaint to the second respondent police on 18.2.2015 against two unknown persons and the same was registered in Crime No.48 of 2015 under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(i) I.P.C. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

After registering the First Information Report, the second respondent has not taken any action against the accused persons. Though the complaint was registered as early as in February, 2015, till date, there was no progress. Hence, the present petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation in this case was almost over and final report is yet to be filed.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the enquiry in the case in Crime No.48 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
