The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 16.10.2015.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint on 16.10.2015 as against one Srinivasan alleging that the said Srinivasan is sexually harassing her and also causing immense mental torture and humiliation to the petitioner. Since no action was taken by the respondent till date, the present petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint was sent by post and the petitioner may be directed to give a fresh complaint in person. 5.Considering the rival submissions, this Court directs the petitioner to furnish a fresh copy of the complaint dated 16.10.2015 along with a copy of this order in person to the respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of a copy of this order and on receipt of such complaint, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry, if enquiry was not conducted so far and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
