O R D E R
The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to register the complaint given by the petitioner dated 21.10.2014.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's family is owning land in Karadikuppam Village, Gingee Taluk, Villupiram District. On 09.10.2014, the petitioner was attacked by one Settu, Devaki, Muniyammal and Narayanan in respect of the property dispute. She was admitted in the hospital and she was discharged from the hospital on 17.10.2014. On the next day, when she went to her pump shed, she found that the PVC pipes in the pump shed were damaged by the said persons. Hence she https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
lodged a complaint on 21.10.2014 with the respondent police. Though C.S.R.No.110 of 2014 was assigned on the said complaint, till date no action was taken. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.
3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner, C.S.R.No.110 of 2014 has been assigned and the matter is pending for enquiry.
5. In view of the submissions made by the petitioner as well as the Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner dated 21.10.2014 in C.S.R.No.110 of 2014 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.
6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
