This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for his wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Crl.O.P.750 of 2021 dated 21.01.2021.

The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent police submitted that the final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate II, Thirupathur on 22.09.2021 and the same is yet to be taken on file.

In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate II, to act upon the final report submitted by the respondent police and take a decision within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
