This matter is listed today, under the caption " for extension of time ".

2. This Court, by order dated 12.10.2023, had disposed of the Civil Revision Petition in CRP.No.2531 of 2023, by directing the Principal District Judge, Dharmapuri to complete the trial in O.S.No.42/2014, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

3. The learned Principal District Judge, Dharmapuri, has addressed a letter dated 12.01.2024 to the Registry seeking extension of time for the reasons stated in the said letter.

4. This Court perused the letter dated 12.01.2024 sent by the learned Principal District Judge, Dharmapuri, and is satisfied with the reasons stated in the letter for not disposing the said O.S.No.42/2014 within the time stipulated by this Court in the order in CRP No.2531 of 2023 dated 12.10.2023.

5. Accordingly, this Court grants further time of three months to the learned Principal District Judge, Dharmapuri to dispose of the O.S.No.42/2014 from the date of receipt of the communication of this order from the Registry.
