ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the FIR on the complaint dated 23.10.2015.

2. In the petition, it is averred that the petitioner is residing at No.15, 4th Street, Mummoorthy Nagar, Chrompet, Chennai-44. His wife Narmadha has divorced the petitioner and is living away from him. The petitioner owns a house at Kandan Street, Gokulam Colony, Karanai Poocheri, Oorappakkam and he let the house for rent to his relative one Raje. Due to Saraswathi Pooja, the said Raje has locked the house and went to Villupuram by keeping the gold for preparing ornaments inside the house. While so, the said Narmadha along with her father Subramani and her brother Pachamuthu @ Ganesh broke open the lock and have taken away the belongings of the said Raje and they are now inside the house. When the petitioner asked them about their act, the said Pachamuthu @ Ganesh threatened the petitioner with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dire consequences. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the Sub Inspector of Police on 23.10.2015. The Sub Inspector Police warned the said Narmadha and his father and brother to hand over the jewels and lock the house. In spite of the same, they have engaged some hooligans, who are staying inside the house along with them and are threatening the petitioner with dire consequences. Hence, the petitioner gave another complaint to the first respondent police on 28.10.2015. But, till date, no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 23.10.2015 has been assigned CSR Number as C.S.R.No.1721 of 2015.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 23.10.2015 has been assigned CSR Number as C.S.R.No.1721 of 2015, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct enquiry in C.S.R.No.1721 of 2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
