ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 01.07.2015.

2. In the petition, it is averred that the petitioner is a retired employee from Aavin. One Dr.V.S.Karthikeyan, who is working in Royapettah Hospital promised the petitioner to get a job to the petitioner's son in the Computer Department of Royapettah Hospital and demanded a sum of Rs.3,00,000/-. Believing his words, the petitioner handed over a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- to the said Dr.V.S.Karthikeyan. But, even after a lapse of three months, he has not arranged job for the petitioner's son. When the petitioner asked about the same over mobile, the said Dr.V.S.Karthikeyan abused the petitioner in filthy language and stated that he could not return the money and further threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 1.7.2015, who in turn, forwarded the same to the second respondent on the same day and the second respondent issued a CSR bearing No.643 of 2015 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

only on 14.7.2015. But, till date, no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 1.7.2015 has been assigned CSR Number as C.S.R.No.643 of 2015, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct enquiry in C.S.R.No.643 of 2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
