ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner's husband dated 11.7.2017.
2. The husband of the petitioner is said to have gifted 0.9 cents of land situate in Survey No.43/2 of Manalampadi Village of Gingee Taluk, Tindivanam sub division for the purpose of laying a public road. Since the land was acquired by the Block Development Officer, Gingee, Villupuram District, the second respondent herein, an assurance was given that the land owner will be provided preference in the event of calling for applications for filling up of the public post. Subsequently, a representation was also sent, which was forwarded to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
District Collector, Villupuram District for his consideration. Finally the petitioner was directed to appear before the Block Development Officer, Gingee Taluk on 8.9.2017 at 9.00 A.M., for an interview to the post of Anganwadi Worker. Accordingly, on 8.9.2017, the petitioner appeared in the office of the second respondent. But till date, no order has been passed. Hence, she has approached this Court.
3. The learned Special/Additional Government Pleader for the respondents sought time to consider the pending representation on merits.
4. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the pending representation on merits and in accordance with law, expeditiously. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
