Respondents Prayer in W.P.No.13796 of 2024 : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to issue patta in respect of the land measuring about 1717 sq. feet situate in Plot No. 23 in S. No.190/6 of Madipakkam -1 Village Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai District.

For Respondents : Mr.P.Sathish Additional Government Pleader COMMON ORDER With the consent of both sides, these Writ Petitions are taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Since the issue involved in all these Writ Petitions are one and the same, these Writ Petitions are disposed of by way of a common order.
3. These writ petitions are filed to direct the respondents herein to issue patta in petitioners name for their land based on the representation of the petitioners dated 30.12.2023.
4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
5. It is the case of the petitioners that they have purchased the properties in the year 1989, 1994, 1995 and 1997 and they are in possession of their respective properties till date. The grievance of the petitioners is that though they 2/5
had given representation to the respondents on 30.12.2023 and 03.01.2024 and as per the directions of the Collector, the Village Administrative Officer also inspected the premises, the respondents have not passed Orders on the representation of the petitioners till date. Hence, the present Writ Petitions.
6. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that since the prayer is limited prayer, the respondents will consider the representation of the petitioners and pass Orders on merits.
7. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the writ petitioners, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 30.12.2023 and 03.01.2024 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
6. With the above direction, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 06.06.2024 vrc 3/5
