ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to initiate action upon the 3rd respondent letter dated 2.11.2015 and further direct the 3rd respondent to provide house under Tsunami Rehabilitation Scheme to her, within a time frame,

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2015 and also the letter written by the third respondent to the first respondent on 02.11.2015, requesting the first respondent to furnish the details of the beneficiaries, the first respondent has not passed any orders so far.

3. Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader, taking notice for the first respondent submitted that the first respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and the letter written by the third respondent and pass orders, in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2015 and the letter written by the third respondent dated 02.11.2015, and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
