O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register an FIR based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 16.06.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. On reading of the complaint dated 16.06.2016, it is alleged by the petitioner that her father was allotted plot No.55 by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board and that, one Manavalan, who is occupying plot No.57 has illegally occupied plot No.55.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that, during the course of enquiry, both the parties had agreed to survey the properties by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board officials and proceed further. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. In a case of this nature, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent Police to register an FIR and this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to workout her remedies in the manner known to law.
