This petition is filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 14.05.2015. For Petitioner : M/s Lesi Saravanan For Respondents : Mr.S.Thamizharasi

By consent the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner, at present is working as Assistant Accounts Officer. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that vide proceedings dated 03.07.2014, though his name was included in Serial No.1 in the list of Assistant Accounts Officer fit for promotion as Accounts Officer for the year 2014-2015, he has not been given promotion whereas his juniors were given promotion vide order dated 10.02.2015. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 14.05.2015 through proper channel to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent praying for his promotion to the post of Accounts Officer. Since no orders has been passed, he came forward to file the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Thamizharasi, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.05.2015 on merits and in accordance with law after putting on notice to the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
