O R D E R

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner against dated 09.10.2015.

2. It is averred in the petition that when the petitioner's daughter was searching for a job, his friend introduced one S.D.Krishnakumar and the said Krishna Kumar stating that he knows the officials of the Metro Rail and thus demanded Rs.5 Lakhs to secure an appointment for the petitioner's daughter and asked the petitioner to pay Rs.3 Lakhs initially and the petitioner also paid the said amount. After receiving the money, the said Krishnakumar did not secure any job to the petitioner's daughter and cheated the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 09.10.2015. Since, no action has been taken, the present petition has been filed.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court is of the opinion that it is appropriate to direct the respondent to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated 09.10.2015 given by the petitioner, if enquiry was not conducted so far, and proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
