The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register the petitioner's complaint dated 28.08.2015.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case was already registered in Crime No.37 of 2015 for an offence punishable under Section 160 I.P.C. and the same is under investigation.

3. Since a case has already been registered on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, the prayer made in the present petition has become infructuous. Hence, the criminal original petition is closed.
