ORDER
The petitioner / accused in Cr.No.174 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent for the offences under Section 406, 420, 465, 468 and 471 IPC, had filed this quash petition.
2. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a victim and she had been falsely arrayed as an accused in this case. It is an elaborate conspiracy perpetrated by one Amalan, Wilson Gnanakumar and G.Paul Jaba who had orchestrated the entire scheme to misappropriate funds belonged to CSI Diocese. He further submitted that the main accused in this case has been left out and the petitioner is unnecessarily targeted. Hence, the petitioner had filed this quash petition relying upon various judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) strongly opposed the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and submitted that the petitioner, under the guise of getting a job, had collected a sum Rs.25 lakhs and after verification of the witnesses and payment details from the victims, a case has been registered against the petitioner. He further submitted that in this case investigation is still in progress.
4. Since investigation is pending, at this stage the defense of the petitioner cannot be considered. If the contention of the petitioner is found with merits, the same would be considered.
5. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
