ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 14.11.2024, wherein the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta. 2.Heard Mr.G.Punniakoti, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokulkrishnan, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.The property in question has been classified as "Kalathu Medu". The petitioner is claiming that they are living in the said property for a long period of time. Hence, they sought for patta by giving a representation dated 14.11.2024 to the respondents. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

3/5 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 14.11.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law in line with G.O.Ms.No.97, dated 21.02.2025 and a final decision shall be taken by the 1 st respondent, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
