The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to issue patta to the petitioner with regard to the vacant land situated at No.120, Paramankeni Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District in Survey No.457 measuring to an extent of 2 acres pursuant to the registered Sale Deed in Document No.1692 of 1993 registered before the Sub Registrar, Cheyyur, dated 15.12.1993 within a time frame.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given her application seeking for transfer of patta as early as on 20.04.2016, however, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Page numbers
3.Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 20.04.2016 seeking for transfer of patta and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks.
4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 20.04.2016 seeking for transfer of patta and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
