ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondent to furnish the treatment history including the test reports.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. According to the petitioner, her husband fell ill as he was affected with COVID 19. Initially, he was taken to Panimalar Private Hospital. Since there was no bed, he was taken to Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital. There also no bed was available and hence he was taken to Stanley Hospital on 03.05.2021 and he died on 13.05.2021. However, immediately he was declared as dead. Now the petitioner sought for treatment history of her husband's illness. According to the petitioner, the petitioner's husband was taken to the respondent hospital on 03.05.2021 and thereafter, he died on 13.05.2021.

A perusal of the medical reports reveals that the petitioner was admitted in the hospital on 13.05.2021 and immediately on the very same day, he died due to Sepsis/Septic Shock /LRTI/Acute Respiratory Failure/ Covid-Sequelae. Therefore, she was not provided with any treatment history sheet. Hence, the request sought for in this writ petition cannot be considered and the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed.
