The present criminal original petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.1582 of 2014.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. A case in Crime No.1582 of 2014 has been registered against the petitioner for the offence under Section 306 IPC on the allegation that on 01.06.2014, the petitioner abetted to commit suicide of the deceased Ms.Durga, who is none other than the daughter of the complainant.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecution submits that the investigation is under progress and it is yet to be completed.

5. Since the investigation is under progress and that the present investigation is not yet completed, I am of the opinion that the petition is premature in nature. Therefore, I am not inclined to quash the F.I.R. Hence, the criminal original petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court after the filing of the final report.
