PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent to register the case against the offenders, based on the CSR No:981 of 2018 dated 09.09.2018 on the file of the respondent police.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the case against the offenders, based on the CSR.No:981 of 2018 dated 09.09.2018 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was assaulted by the proposed accused persons during temple festival and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent on CSR.No:981 of 2018 dated 09.09.2018, but so far, no action has been taken in this case.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.Side) has submitted that the petitioner complaint is still pending for enquiry.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry. If the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.
