Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to Rule 2(e) of the Tamilnadu Engineering Service Rules and para 3 of the Regularisation order issued by the second respondent in No.S2 (2)/26232/2008, dated 11.07.2008 and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to prepare the seniority list of Assistant Engineers on merit by including the petitioner, who were appointed by recruitment by transfer to the post of Assistant Engineer and promote the petitioner to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer in accordance with the merit and seniority eligible to the petitioner.
