This petition is filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.R.C.No.16 of 2016 dated 20.01.2016 directing the petitioner to appear before the Deputy Superintendent of Police, "Q" Branch CID, Coimbatore Range, Coimbatore District, daily at 10.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. until further orders.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner after coming out on bail, he has been complying with the condition regularly from 25.08.2020. He would submit that the respondent has completed the investigation in Crime No.1 of 2015 and the final report has been filed and the case is also been taken up on file in S.C.No.256 of 2015 and now it is pending trial on the file of the Principal District Judge, Coimbatore. He would further submit that the petitioner is also regularly appearing before the Court on all hearing dates and he undertakes that the petitioner will appear before trial Court on all hearing dates. Hence, he seeks for modification.

3. The respondent has filed a detailed counter.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner is continuing with his illegal activities and thereby, he would object for modification of condition.

5. Heard the learned Counsels and perused the materials on records.

6. Taking into consideration of the fact that now the case has been taken up for trial and that the petitioner has been regularly appearing before the respondent from 25.08.2020 as directed by this Court, the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.R.C.No.16 of 2016 dated 20.01.2016, is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month at 10.30 a.m. until further orders. 7.This petition is ordered accordingly.
