ORDER

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the Revision Petition dated 20.08.2018 filed by him along with interim stay petition in accordance with law within a reasonable time. 3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has filed a Revision Petition dated 20.08.2018 under Section 13 of Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 before the District Revenue Officer, Dharmapuri to set aside the order in NI.MU.5040/2017(A6) dated 06.08.2018 along with a stay petition https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and the same are yet to be disposed of. However, the learned counsel submitted that it would suffice, if the said stay petition filed by the petitioner is directed to be considered by the first respondent, on merits, within a time frame. 4.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents 1 to 3, submitted that the first respondent be directed to consider the petitioner's stay petition and pass orders in accordance with law. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Stay Petition dated 20.08.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
