O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to disburse the drought relief fund to him for the agricultural land comprised in S.Nos.384/1A and 384/1B situated at Myvaadi Village, Madathukulam Taluk, Tiruppur District by considering representations dated 22.02.2017, 17.04.2017, 08.05.2017, 26.05.2017.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representations, the first respondent has not passed any orders so far.

3.Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the first respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representations in accordance with law.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 22.02.2017, 17.04.2017, 08.05.2017 and 26.05.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
