Crl.M.P.No.7690 of 2022 Crl.M.P.No. 7690 of 2022 in Crl.O.P.No.25528 of 2021 SATHI KUMAR SUKUMARA KURUP, J., When the case came up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioners had filed a Petition in Crl.O.P.No.25528 of 2021 seeking bail under SC/ST (POA) Act, after the amendment brought to the SC/ST (POA) Act, this Court does not exercise discretion with regard to that Act. Therefore, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C this Court had directed the Petitioners to surrender themselves before the Trial Court within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order dated 03.01.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.25528 of 2021. 2.Subsequently, the Petitioners had filed this Petition stating that after receipt of the order the Petitioners were unable to surrender because they were effected with Covid-19 and the other members of their family are also effected. Therefore, they seek extension of time.

3. Considering the extraordinary circumstances, the Petitioners are granted one month time to surrender before the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases registered under SC/ST (POA) Act Cases, Villupuram. On such https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
