ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed with a prayer to call for the records pertaining to First Information Report in Crime No. 14/AC/2020/CCII, on the file of the respondent. 1/3

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that, after examining the witnesses, collecting the documents and completing the investigation, it was found that there was no sufficient evidence to prosecute the petitioners. Accordingly, a final report under Section 193 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed before the Hon'ble Special Court for Cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, Chennai on 13.03.2025, through e-Filing No. LTN20240003023C202500004 dropping all further action. The same is currently under consideration by the Trial Court.

3. In view thereof, recording the same and with a direction to the Trial Court to consider the said final report on its own merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Crl.M.P.No.7907 of 2025 is also closed. No costs.
