2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the respondent.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed along with the application, this petition filed for condoning the delay stands ordered, however, on payment of costs. Accordingly, the delay is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) payable by the petitioner to the Madras High Court Legal Aid Services Authority, Chennai, within a period of two weeks from today.

4. It is also made clear that if the cost is paid on or before 04.07.2023, and the affidavit of service is filed, this application stands allowed and the Registry is directed to number the main appeal, if it is otherwise in order. Page No.1 of 3
