This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the records relating to the First Information Report in Crime No.5 of 2018 on the file of the respondent and to quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that already, a final report was submitted by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vellore on 22.09.2022 with a prayer to close the case. The final report has been assigned number as R.C.No.8 of 2022 and notice was issued to the complainant and the complainant has also endorsed no objection for closure of the F.I.R and the matter is now posted to 17.07.2025 for perusal of the records and passing of final orders on the closure report.

3. In view thereof, nothing further needs to be adjudicated in this Criminal Original Petition and as such, the same is closed with a direction to the Trial Court to take a decision on the final report and pass final orders 2/5

thereon in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
