Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records relating to the detention order in BCDFGISSSV No.21/2022 dated 18.05.2022 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondent to produce the petitioner's husband Manigandan S/o. Subramani aged about 30 years the detenue, now confined in Central Prison II, Puzhal chennai before this Court and set the petitioner's husband Manigandan S/o.Subramani aged about 30 years the detenue herein at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in BCDFGISSSV No.21/2022 dated 18.05.2022, detaining her husband as "Drug Offender" under Section 2(e) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order 2/5

of detention passed against the detenue has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3984, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) department, dated 01.07.2022 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
