ORDER
(Order of the court was delivered by M.M. SUNDRESH,J.,) The petitioner has filed the above writ petition seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.08.2017 requesting to restore the name of Sendamangalam busstand as " Kamarajar Bus Stand" . 2.
It appears that the old bus stand was functioning in the name of " Kamarajar Bus Stand". However, new bus stand is constructed and the name " Kamarajar" has been omitted. The petitioner has given representation to the third respondent and the third respondent was informed that the old bus stand was named as " Kamarajar Bus Stand " and in the new bus stand the word " Kamarajar " was not found. 3.
The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the decision will have to be taken by the third respondent in this regard.

We do not want to express anything on the issue, since it is pending consideration with the third respondent, being the competent authority.

Accordingly, we direct the third respondent, the District Collector, Namakkal District to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 21.08.2017 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Needless to say that the third respondent will look into the proposal, received by him in this regard. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar /TRUE COPY/ Sub Assistant Registrar sr
