Mr.V.Selvaraj, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the 1st respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The challenge made in this writ petition is only a show cause notice dated 18.09.2017 for which admittedly, the petitioner has already sent a reply on 05.10.2017. When that being the factual position, the petitioner cannot approach this Court and file the present writ petition questioning the very show cause notice.

4. Needless to say that when the competent authority had issued the show cause notice, the same has to be contested before the Authority by way of filing a reply, which the petitioner has already done. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to consider the reply filed by the petitioner to the show cause notice and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
