O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorari calling for the records relating to the transfer order dated 21.03.2025 issued by the first respondent herein in Na.Ka.No.212/ 2025/H3, quash the same.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the impugned transfer order dated 21.03.2025 is a punishment transfer based upon the recommendation of the third respondent. It is the submission of the petitioner that there are no reason to transfer the petitioner from Madurantakam to Chidambaram and that so far no enquiry is pending with the respondents.

3.Though it is the submission of the petitioner that there are no reason to transfer the petitioner from Madurantakam to Chidambaram, being the head of the department on account of any exigency, the first respondent has every right to transfer the petitioner on administrative exigency. Therefore, the recommendation of the third respondent for 2/4

transfer of the petitioner by itself will not be construed to be punitive transfer.

4.Hence, there is no merits in the writ petition. However, if the petitioner wants to give any representation, he may do so within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the respondents are directed to consider the same upon its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of six weeks thereafter. 5.The writ petition is disposed of.
