ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue house site patta in his name in respect of his land in Survey No. 304, Soppatti Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, by considering his representation dated 12.12.2016.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2016, the second respondent has not passed any orders so far.

3. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the respondents submitted that the second respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation, for the issuance of patta, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2016 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
