ORDER

This petition filed to to direct the respondents to not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. The petitioner has been unnecessarily harassed by the respondent police under the guise of enquiry on the false complaint made by her estranged son Prabhakaran. A criminal case in Crime No.229 of 2021 has been registered against her son for the offence under Sections 294(b) and 324 of IPC registered. The said Prabhakaran had given a representation to the Chief Minister Cell, which was forwarded in RC.No.1812 of 2021, and thereafter, enquiry conducted and closed on 22.07.2021, wherein the petitioner is not required for enquiry.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner's son has been constantly giving one complaint or other before various authorities. In fact, the petitioner had filed a domestic violence complaint against her son Prabhakaran, which is pending. Taking advantage of the fact that the petitioner being a widow lady, her son in order to grab entire property has given false complaints.

4. In view of the same, in future, if any complaint is made by the petitioner's son, considering the age of the petitioner and she also being a widow lady, the respondent police preferably a Women Police shall visit the petitioner's house instead of calling the petitioner unnecessarily for enquiry.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
