[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J.] The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this court by its order dated 14.02.2018 in W.P.No.2070 of 2018, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner on merits by fixing a time frame of eight weeks. Since, the order of this court has not been complied with by the respondent, the present contempt petition has been preferred.
2.The learned Additional Advocate General, appearing for the respondent would submit that after conducting enquiry, the respondent has passed an order dated 24.07.2019, rejecting the representation of the petitioner. A copy of the order passed by the respondent has been produced before this Court. Pursuant to the same, the order of this court dated 14.02.2018 has now been complied with and nothing survives in this Contempt Petition. 3.The Contempt Petition stands closed accordingly. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the
respondent, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the same before the appropriate forum. No costs.
