ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 07.09.2015 in Na.Ka.No.1834/SPG/2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2.In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it has been stated by the petitioner that the petitioner is an agricultural cooly and she is having a son viz., Mohan, who is also doing agricultural works. On 22.03.2013, while the petitioner's son was returning to home in a tractor, he met with an accident, in which he sustained server head injuries and became bed-ridden. In this regard, a complaint was lodged by the petitioner, but subsequently, the said complaint was closed as if no accident had occurred. Hence, the petitioner lodged a fresh complaint on 07.09.2015, but no action was taken. Hence, the present petition has been filed by the petitioner before this Court.

3.When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed to grant any direction to the respondent-Police stating that the alleged accident had taken place two years ago and no reason was given by the petitioner for the delay in filing the complaint. 4.However, from the perusal of the records, I find that the petitioner's complaint has been received by the 1st respondentPolice in C.S.R.1834 on 11.09.2015, and a notice dated 23.09.2015 has also been sent by the 2nd respondent-Police to the petitioner directing the petitioner to appear for enquiry. 5.Hence, the 2nd respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry in C.S.R.1834 of 2015 and dispose of the same, in accordance with law, as early as possible.

With the above direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
