The petitioner seeks for a mandamus to forbear the respondents from electing or giving charge to any of the Director as President in the Venkarumbur Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society, Venkarumbur, Murugankudi Post, Tittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District.

petitioner.

3.It is seen that the while petitioner was holding the post of President, he was removed by passing a resolution in a no confidence motion moved against the petitioner. Consequently, now an attempt is made to elect a new President, which is sought to be prevented by the petitioner in this writ petition. I do not think that the petitioner is entitled to seek for this relief, without challenging his removal from the post of President in a manner known to law. Needless to say that what is sought for in this writ petition is only the consequential relief and not the main relief, which the petitioner has to agitate in a separate proceeding before the appropriate forum. Thus, I find that the writ petition is not maintainable. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
