PRAYER:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 27.02.2015 seeking publication of the withheld results in Memorandum No.485-K1/85, dated 09.11.1989, bearing Regn.No.438, within a time stipulated by this Court.

The petitioner took part in the examination conducted for the post of Junior Inspector. Though the petitioner has taken part in the said examination, the result has been withheld. It appears https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that such decision was taken in view of the fact that the petitioner is said to have involved in a criminal case. It appears that the petitioner has been acquitted from the criminal case. Thereafter, the petitioner also made a representation dated 27.02.2015 seeking to publish the results. On non-consideration of the said representation, the present writ petition has been filed.

Considering the pendency of the representation, a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the said representation of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
