This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the complaint dated 12.09.2015 on the file of the Inspector of Police, G-6, Police Station, Chithamur, Kancheepuram District, within the time limit stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.
2.The case of the petitioner is that there is a previous enmity between the petitioner and one Somasundaram, who is none other than the adjacent land owner of the petitioner and his brother. Due to the same, one Sarala, Ragupathy, Kavitha and Nagaraj have demolished the compound wall of the petitioner's land by JCB and also they have threatened the petitoner with dire consequences. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent police. But, till date no action has been taken by the respondent police. Hence, the petitioner has filed this present criminal original petition. 3.The Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent submitted that the complaint has been sent by post. Hence, a direction may be given to the petitioner to give a copy of the fresh complaint dated 12.09.2015.
4.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court is of the opinion that it is appropriate to direct the petitioner to submit a fresh copy of the complaint along with a copy of this order to the respondent and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to enquire the matter and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the complaint.
5.With the above directions, this criminal original petitions is disposed of.
