ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 120B, 465, 467, 471, 420 & 511 of IPC, in Crime No.02 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that accused persons forged de facto complainant bank cheque and presented it for collection as if it was issued by the former Attorney General of India in favour of one of the accused. When it was presented for collection, the de facto complainant bank found that the cheque itself was a forged one, in which the petitioner is the main and key person who forged the cheque in the name of HDFC Bank/de facto complainant bank. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Therefore, the petitioner along with other accused persons have committed very serious offence as against the society and this Court is of the view that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much essential in this case. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
