This matter is placed before this Court today on the basis of the letter dated 23.01.2026 received from the learned XXXI Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional Court for CCB cases, Egmore, Chennai - 600 008, seeking extension of time for disposal of the case in CC.No.1084 of 2020.

2. Considering the reasons stated in the letter dated 23.01.2026, this Court is of the view that it is appropriate to accept the request made by the learned XXXI Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional Court for CCB cases, Egmore, Chennai - 600 008.
