The prayer sought for in the present petition is to transfer the investigating agency from the respondent police to the Central Bureau of Investigation in respect of the case in FIR.No.420 of 2014 registered on 10.10.2014.

2. One of the main grievances of the petitioner is that there is no progress in the investigation and the same is kept pending almost three years.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on the other hand submitted that, pending investigation, the first and second accused had expired and in view of the large number of disputes, they were unable to file a charge sheet in time.
However, it is submitted that the first respondent will endeavour to file a final report within the time stipulated by this Court.
4. Taking into consideration of the fact that the complaint was filed on 10.10.2014, the first respondent is directed to file a final report/ charge sheet within 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
