The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 22.09.2015 and proceed further in accordance with law.
2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint on 22.09.2015 as against one Vanaja Subramanian on the allegation that she was threatened by the said Vanaja Subramanian with regard to property dispute. Though the said complaint was lodged on 22.09.2015, no action was taken by the respondents till date. Hence, the petitioner came forward to file this petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint was sent by post and the petitioner may be directed to give a fresh complaint in person. 5.Considering the rival submissions, this Court directs the petitioner to furnish a fresh copy of the complaint dated 16.10.2015 along with a copy of this order in person to the first respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such complaint, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the first respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.
6. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
