O R D E R

The petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent/Police not to harass him under the pretext of enquiry.

When this Petition was taken up on earlier occasion, i.e. on 01.06.2015, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Even today, there is no representation on his behalf. 3.

It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, representing the respondent/State that, on the complaint given by Financier, from whom, the petitioner has availed vehicle loan, enquiry was conducted, and it appears that the petitioner seems to have given an undertaking that he would pay the due in six monthly installments.

In view of the abovesaid circumstances of the case, no blanket direction as prayed for by the petitioner can be given. If the petitioner is wanted either for enquiry or for interrogation, he can very well be summoned by the respondent/Police, and while doing so, the petitioner shall not be harassed. At the same time, the petitioner should submit himself to the respondent for interrogation and enquiry.

With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
